Gosh, I've been lazy recently. I've been at home quite a bit but just was too lazy to scrap. Here's one finally!!

I've got loads of old photos of Kieran, just waiting to be scrapped. Loved this cheeky smile of his!

Presenting... Kieran's art!

My boys are always drawing and doodling and I've always felt bad thrashing their doodles away! I think they really make great showcase pieces! Also, I thought that he'll probably feel more encouraged when he sees his artwork hung up for display. :D

I've been googling around to see how I can display/use children's art pieces and there were some pretty good ideas!!

Here are some ideas:
1) recycle as gift wrap
2) cut them up to make greeting cards
3) Scrapbook them
4) Blog about them
5) Create a portfolio for them
6) Take photographs of them before you trash them! :)

The durian slurper..

Just had to record our little baby slurping away at the durian. Got the word art slurp on google images. Printed it out and matted it on black foam. Rather like the effect. :)

Kiefer's 1st Birthday Album

Kit: Blues by Shabby Princess

Made a mini album out of all the photos we had of the party.

Took quite a while but I really loved it!

Most importantly, it is laminated thus it's virtually indestructible!!

Beach Scene Fun!

Papers & Elements from the JM Blogtrain: Pockets Full of Sand

This was a really fun LO to make. It is part of Hubby's collection of photos for his little Ikea flip frame. I was going to fill it up with photos so that he could put it on his work table. As all the photos had to be 6" x 4", I found it kinda difficult to deviate from the usual 12 x 12 scrapping. After making about 6 LOs in 6 X 4, I started surfing around and decided to do the "pop out" photo thingy and this was the result!! I quite like it actually!! :P

Our boys have grown up!

I started making yearly layouts of Kieran when he turned one. Thought that it was a good way to track how much he has grown in the year. So when Kiefer was born, I did that for him too. '

Paper Bag book

Saw Mary-Anne Walters' paper bag book and was inspired to try it as well. I've never really done anything other than LOs and maybe an occasional photo frame. This was a real challenge for me and yea.. it was really fun!!
